I love cryptic moths. It's amazing how well they blend in. It was cool and rainy the other day when I found this one in the yard on a poplar tree. It almost seemed sluggish which was a good thing for getting pics.
The more and more that I photograph, the more amazing it is how well nature blends with nature. The color of the insect or whatever and the color of the background are sometimes almost too hard to beleive.
